Complete Form DS-82 if renewing by mail and eligible to do so
Gather proof of U.S. citizenship
Gather a valid government-issued photo ID
Prepare a passport photo that meets U.S. Department of State requirements
Calculate and prepare the required fees
Submit your application at an Õ¨Õ¶Õ¤Õ¸Ö‚Õ¶ing facility, passport agency, or by mail if eligible
Sign the application in front of the acceptance agent if required
Provide any additional documents requested by the Department of State
Track your application status after submission
Receive your passport card by mail once approved
