Check your Mac model and available ports
Identify the second monitor’s input ports
Get the correct cable or adapter
Connect the monitor to power
Connect the monitor to your Mac
Turn on the monitor
Open System Settings
Go to Displays
Select the second monitor
Choose Extend Display or Mirror Display
Arrange the displays as needed
Set resolution and refresh rate if needed
Close System Settings
