Open WhatsApp
Tap the three dots or Settings
Go to Chats
Tap Chat backup
Tap Back up
To include videos, turn on Include videos
To back up to Google Drive on Android, choose a Google account and backup frequency
To back up to iCloud on iPhone, make sure iCloud Drive is enabled
Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi and have enough storage
Wait for the backup to finish
To restore later, install WhatsApp on the same phone number and follow the restore prompt
