Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels

Place the fillets on the baking sheet in a single layer

Brush or drizzle the fillets with olive oil or melted butter

Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon juice

Add herbs if desired, such as parsley, dill, or thyme

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness

Check that the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F (63°C)

Remove from the oven and serve immediately
