Open the Phone app
Tap More (three dots) or Settings
Tap Spam and Call Screen
Turn on Screen calls and/or Caller ID and spam
Turn on Block spam calls (if available)
Open the Phone app
Tap Recents
Tap the spam call entry
Tap Block/report spam
Open the Phone app
Tap Contacts
Select the contact you want to block
Tap Block contact
Open Settings
Tap Network & internet
Tap Private DNS
Set Private DNS to a provider that blocks known malicious domains (optional)
Install a reputable call-blocking app from the Play Store
In the call-blocking app, enable call blocking and set it as the default caller ID/blocking service if prompted
Open Settings
Tap Apps
Tap the Phone app
Tap Permissions
Ensure permissions for Phone/Call Screen are enabled (if applicable)
Update the Phone app and Android system
Keep spam protection settings enabled in the Phone app and any installed blocking app
