Forward the spam text to 7726
Delete the spam message
Go to Settings
Tap Messages
Turn off iMessage if needed

Tap Notifications
Adjust Messages notification settings
Use a third-party spam filter app if needed
Keep iPhone software updated
Avoid replying to spam texts
Avoid tapping links in suspicious messages
