Restart the computer
Press and hold Shift while selecting Restart
Choose Troubleshoot
Choose Advanced options
Choose Startup Settings
Select Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking
Press 6 or F6 for Safe Mode with Command Prompt
For Windows 10/11, open Settings
Go to System
Go to Recovery
Under Advanced startup, select Restart now
Follow the same Startup Settings steps
For older Windows versions, press F8 repeatedly during startup
Select Safe Mode from the boot menu
