Select the text, file, or item you want to move or duplicate
Press Ctrl + C to copy
Press Ctrl + X to cut
Click where you want to place the item
Press Ctrl + V to paste
You can also right-click the selected item and choose Copy, Cut, or Paste
On some apps, use the Edit menu to find Copy, Cut, and Paste
