Check whether your mouse has a DPI button on top, below the scroll wheel, or on the underside
Press the DPI button to cycle through preset DPI levels
Open your mouse manufacturer’s software
Find the DPI, sensitivity, or pointer settings section
Select the desired DPI value or create a custom DPI profile
Save or apply the changes
If your mouse has onboard memory, store the profile to the mouse
Adjust Windows mouse pointer speed if needed
Adjust in-game sensitivity if needed
Test the new DPI setting and repeat if necessary
