Grind the beans fine
Dose the portafilter with the ground coffee
Distribute the grounds evenly
Tamp the coffee firmly and level
Lock the portafilter into the machine
Preheat the machine and cup
Start the extraction
Brew for about 25 to 30 seconds
Aim for a balanced espresso shot
Stop the shot at the desired volume
Serve immediately
