Clean the stainless steel with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth
Remove grease or residue with isopropyl alcohol or vinegar
Apply a small amount of stainless steel polish or metal polish
Buff with a clean microfiber cloth using light, even pressure
Follow the grain of the stainless steel when buffing
Use a soft buffing pad or non-abrasive polishing pad for larger areas
Wipe away excess polish with a clean dry cloth
Repeat until the desired shine is reached
Finish with a final wipe in the direction of the grain
Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, and harsh cleaners
Test any polish on a small hidden area first
