Clean the aluminum with warm water and mild soap
Rinse thoroughly and dry completely
Remove dirt, grease, and oxidation with a degreaser if needed
Sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper
Progress to finer grits for a smoother finish
Apply aluminum polish with a soft cloth
Rub in small circular motions
Buff with a clean microfiber cloth
Repeat polishing until the desired shine is reached
Use a polishing wheel for larger or heavily oxidized surfaces
Wipe off residue after polishing
Apply a protective wax or sealant to help maintain the shine
