Choose the roof shape you want
Mark the roof outline on top of the walls
Build the first layer one block out from the wall edge
Add each next layer one block inward and one block higher
Repeat until the roof meets at the center or ridge
Use stairs for sloped roof edges
Use slabs for a flatter roof or smoother top
Add a ridge line along the top if needed
Mirror both sides evenly
Fill any gaps under the roof
Trim the edges with matching blocks
Add overhangs if desired
Check the roof from all sides for symmetry
Replace blocks where the slope looks uneven
Finish with lighting or decorative details if wanted
