Read the velocities at those points
Read the corresponding times at those points
Calculate the change in velocity: final velocity minus initial velocity
Calculate the change in time: final time minus initial time
Divide change in velocity by change in time
Use the formula: acceleration = slope of the velocity-time graph
Use the formula: acceleration = (v2 – v1) / (t2 – t1)
For a straight-line graph, the acceleration is constant
For a curved graph, find the slope of the tangent at the point of interest
The units of acceleration are m/s²
