How To Calculate CTC?

CTC = Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance + House Rent Allowance + Conveyance Allowance + Medical Allowance + Special Allowance + Other fixed allowances + Employer’s provident fund contribution + Gratuity + Bonus + Other benefits

Annual CTC = Monthly CTC × 12

Monthly CTC = Annual CTC ÷ 12

Gross Salary = Basic Salary + Allowances + Bonus + Other taxable benefits

Net Salary = Gross Salary − Employee PF − Professional Tax − Income Tax − Other deductions

CTC is the total cost to the company, not the take-home salary

Include only employer-paid components in CTC

Exclude employee deductions from CTC

Add one-time benefits only if they are part of the compensation package

Use the salary breakup to sum all fixed and variable employer costs
