Locate the water filter in your refrigerator
Turn off the water supply if required by your model
Open the filter cover or access panel
Twist, push, or pull the old filter to remove it
Remove the protective cap from the new filter if present
Insert the new filter in the correct orientation
Twist, push, or lock the new filter into place
Close the filter cover or access panel
Run several gallons of water through the dispenser
Check for leaks around the filter area
Reset the filter indicator light if your fridge has one
