Open the Facebook app or go to Facebook on your browser
Log in to your account
Tap/click your profile picture (or name) to open your profile
Tap/click the three dots (or Menu)
Select Settings & privacy, then Settings
Tap/click Personal details
Select Name
Tap/click Edit next to your name
Enter your new first name and last name
Enter your password if prompted
Tap/click Review change
Submit the change
Check your email or notifications for any approval requests or verification steps
Wait for Facebook to process the request, if required
