Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
Select Change a password
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Confirm the new password
Press Enter or click the arrow to save
Open Settings
Go to Accounts
Select Sign-in options
Choose Password
Click Change
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Confirm the new password
Save the changes
If using a Microsoft account, go to account.microsoft.com
Sign in to your account
Select Security
Choose Password security
Click Change my password
Follow the prompts to set a new password
If using a local account and you forgot the password, use password reset options
Use a password reset disk if available
Contact your system administrator if the PC is managed by an organization
