Locate the water filter compartment
Turn off the water supply if needed
Open the filter cover
Remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise or pulling it out, depending on the model
Insert the new Samsung filter into the slot
Turn the new filter clockwise until it locks in place, if required
Close the filter cover
Run water through the dispenser for several minutes
Check for leaks
Reset the filter indicator on the refrigerator control panel
