You cannot change your Steam account name after creating it
Your Steam account name is permanent and cannot be edited
You can change your Steam profile name instead
Open Steam and sign in
Click your profile name in the top-right corner
Select View my profile
Click Edit Profile
Change your profile name in the Profile Name field
Click Save
If you want a different account name, you must create a new Steam account
