Open Word
Click File
Click Account
Under Office Theme, select White or Colorful
Close and reopen Word if needed
On Mac, click Word
Click Preferences
Click General
Under Personalize, change the theme to Light
On Windows, you can also go to File
Click Options
Click General
Under Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office, change Office Theme to White or Colorful
