Open Microsoft Teams
Select the chat or message from the blocked email sender
Check the sender’s name and email address in the message details
Go to the user’s profile card
Review the contact or organization details shown there
Open Microsoft Outlook
Check the blocked senders list in Outlook settings
Review your Microsoft 365 admin or security settings if you manage the account
Search Teams chat history for messages from the blocked email address
Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to confirm whether the email is blocked in the tenant
