Open the Start menu
Type Command Prompt and open it
Type ipconfig and press Enter
Look for IPv4 Address under your active network adapter
Open Settings
Click Network & Internet
Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Click the connected network name
View the IP address listed there
Open Control Panel
Click Network and Sharing Center
Click your active connection
Click Details
Find the IPv4 Address in the list
Open Task Manager
Go to the Performance tab
Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Check the IP address information shown there
