Right-click the app shortcut or executable
Select Properties
Open the Details tab
Check Product version or File version
Open the app
Click Help or About
Look for the version number in the About window
Press Win + R
Type winver
Press Enter
Check the Windows version in the dialog box
Open Settings
Go to Apps
Select Installed apps or Apps & features
Find the app
Check the version listed if available
Open Control Panel
Go to Programs and Features
Check the installed program details if shown
Use Command Prompt or PowerShell
Run the app’s version command if supported
Check the software installer or setup file properties
Open Task Manager
Find the running app
Right-click it and select Open file location
Check the file properties for version information
