Two authors: list both authors in the same order as the source, with the first author’s name inverted
Example: Smith, John, and Jane Doe. Title of Work. Publisher, Year.
Three or more authors: list the first author followed by “et al.”
Example: Smith, John, et al. Title of Work. Publisher, Year.
In-text citation for two authors: include both last names
Example: (Smith and Doe 45)
In-text citation for three or more authors: include the first author’s last name followed by “et al.”
Example: (Smith et al. 45)
If the source has an organization as author, use the organization name instead of personal authors
If two authors share the same last name, include first names or initials in the citation if needed for clarity
