Empty the feeder and discard any old nectar
Disassemble all removable parts
Rinse all parts with hot water
Scrub the feeder with a bottle brush or soft brush
Clean feeding ports and small openings with a pipe cleaner or small brush
Use a mild vinegar solution if needed for stubborn residue
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Let all parts air-dry completely
Refill with fresh nectar only after the feeder is fully dry
Clean the feeder every 2 to 3 days in hot weather
Clean the feeder at least once a week in cooler weather
