Unplug the water cooler
Remove the water bottle
Drain any remaining water from the cooler
Remove the drip tray and wash it with warm soapy water
Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner
Clean the water reservoir with a mixture of warm water and vinegar or a manufacturer-approved cleaner
Scrub the reservoir and dispenser nozzles with a clean brush if needed
Rinse all cleaned parts thoroughly with clean water
Sanitize the reservoir and spouts if recommended by the manufacturer
Reassemble the cooler
Install a new water bottle
Plug the cooler back in
Run a small amount of water through the dispenser before use
Clean the cooler regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions
