Gently brush away debris with a soft, clean, dry brush
Clean the charging case with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth
Use a cotton swab to clean the charging contacts inside the case
Dampen a cloth slightly with isopropyl alcohol if needed for stubborn dirt
Avoid getting any liquid inside openings
Do not use sharp objects, abrasive materials, or compressed air
Let everything dry completely before using or charging
Store AirPods in the case when not in use
