Sign in to the Zoom web portal: https://zoom.us/signin
Click Profile (or My Profile)
Click Edit next to your name
Update your First Name and Last Name
Click Save
If needed, update your display name during a meeting:
Open Zoom desktop app
Click your profile picture (top-right)
Select Settings
Click Profile
Edit your name and click Save
If you’re changing your name for meetings only (not your account):
Join a Zoom meeting
Click Participants or More (as shown)
Click Rename (or “Change Name”)
Enter the new name and confirm
If you’re using Zoom Mobile:
Open the Zoom app
Tap Settings
Tap your profile name (or Profile)
Tap Edit
Update your name
Tap Save
If you’re joining via a managed school/work account and can’t edit your name:
Contact your Zoom administrator or IT to update your directory profile
