Rinse the aluminum with warm water
Wash it with mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Dry immediately with a soft towel
Remove stains with a paste of baking soda and water
Gently scrub with a nonabrasive sponge
Rinse and dry again
Use white vinegar for light oxidation
Apply vinegar with a cloth, then rinse well
Avoid steel wool, harsh scrubbers, and abrasive cleaners
Avoid bleach and strong alkaline cleaners
Polish with an aluminum-safe polish if needed
Test any cleaner on a small hidden area first
