Turn off and unplug the dryer
Open the lint trap
Remove the lint screen
Pull off all visible lint by hand
Use your fingers to clear lint from the screen edges
Vacuum the lint trap slot with a narrow attachment
Wipe the lint screen with a damp cloth if residue is present
Dry the lint screen completely before reinstalling
Reinsert the lint screen
Clean the lint trap after every load
