Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it or switch off the circuit breaker
Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom rack
Locate the filter at the bottom of the tub
Twist the filter assembly counterclockwise to unlock it
Lift out the filter assembly
Separate the coarse filter and fine filter if applicable
Rinse the filter under warm running water
Use a soft brush to remove food particles and debris
Clean the filter housing area in the dishwasher tub
Reinstall the filter parts in the correct position
Twist the filter clockwise to lock it in place
Reinstall the bottom rack
Restore power to the dishwasher
Run a short cycle if needed to confirm proper operation
