Turn off the ice maker
Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect power
Remove all ice from the bin
Take out the ice bin
Wash the ice bin with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse the ice bin thoroughly
Dry the ice bin completely
Wipe the ice maker interior with a soft cloth and warm water
Clean removable parts with warm water and mild soap
Use a soft brush to remove buildup from hard-to-reach areas
Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals
Clean the water inlet and surrounding area if accessible
Reinstall all parts
Restore power
Turn the ice maker back on
Discard the first batch of ice after cleaning
