Turn off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker
Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher
Turn off the garbage disposal if connected
Place a towel or shallow pan under the water line and drain hose
Remove the toe kick panel
Disconnect the electrical wiring in the junction box
Disconnect the water supply line
Disconnect the drain hose from the sink drain or garbage disposal
Remove the mounting screws securing the dishwasher to the countertop or cabinet
Loosen the leveling legs if needed
Carefully slide the dishwasher out of the cabinet opening
Cap or secure any open water or drain connections
Remove the dishwasher from the area
