Turn off the dishwasher and remove the bottom rack
Locate the filter at the bottom of the tub
Twist the filter assembly counterclockwise to unlock it
Lift out the filter assembly
Separate the coarse filter and fine filter if applicable
Rinse the filters under warm running water
Use a soft brush or toothbrush to remove debris
Clean the filter housing inside the dishwasher
Check the drain area for food particles or buildup
Reassemble the filter parts
Insert the filter back into place
Twist clockwise to lock it
Replace the bottom rack
Run a short cycle if needed to confirm proper operation
