Wear gloves and open windows for ventilation
Remove all laundry from the machine
Check and clean the detergent drawer
Wipe the door seal, gasket, and drum with a cloth soaked in white vinegar or a mold cleaner
Scrub visible mold with a soft brush or sponge
Run an empty hot wash cycle with 2 cups of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner
Run a second empty hot cycle with baking soda if needed
Clean the filter and drain trap
Wipe the exterior, control panel, and door edges
Leave the door and detergent drawer open to dry completely
Repeat regularly to prevent mold buildup
