Power off the PS5 completely
Unplug all cables
Let the console cool down
Place the PS5 on a clean, flat surface
Remove the stand if attached
Remove the side panels carefully
Use a vacuum on low power near the vents
Use compressed air in short bursts
Hold the fan blades in place while cleaning
Use a soft brush to loosen dust
Clean the vents and fan area
Wipe exterior surfaces with a dry microfiber cloth
Reattach the side panels
Reattach the stand
Plug the cables back in
Power on the PS5 and check for normal airflow
