Pull the belt fully out and hold it in place with a clip or clamp

Wipe the seat belt from top to bottom

Wipe the belt with a clean damp cloth to remove soap residue
Let the seat belt air dry completely before retracting it
Repeat if needed for heavy stains or buildup

Avoid using high heat to dry the seat belt
