Remove the insoles and laces
Shake out loose dirt and debris
Wash the insoles with warm water and mild soap
Wipe the inside and outside of the shoes with a damp cloth and mild soap
Sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes and let it sit overnight
Brush out the baking soda the next day
Wash laces separately with soap and water
Air-dry the shoes completely in a well-ventilated area
Place dryer sheets, cedar inserts, or activated charcoal inside the shoes after drying
Rotate shoes regularly to let them dry between uses
Wear moisture-wicking socks to reduce future odor
