Rinse the strawberries under cool running water
Mix 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts water in a bowl
Place the strawberries in the vinegar solution
Let them soak for 5 to 10 minutes
Gently swirl the strawberries in the solution
Remove the strawberries from the bowl
Rinse them thoroughly under cool running water
Pat them dry with a clean paper towel or cloth
Remove the stems after washing if desired
Store the strawberries in the refrigerator after drying
