Power off the TV and unplug it
Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen in straight lines (top to bottom or left to right)
If needed, lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with distilled water
Wipe again gently with minimal pressure
For stubborn smudges, use a screen-cleaning solution labeled safe for TVs and apply it to the cloth (not directly to the screen)
Dry with a clean, dry microfiber cloth using gentle strokes
Keep the screen dry—avoid letting liquid seep into edges, ports, or vents
Avoid paper towels, tissues, and abrasive cloths
Avoid spraying any cleaner directly onto the screen
Avoid cleaners containing ammonia, alcohol, bleach, or strong solvents
Let the screen fully dry before plugging the TV back in and turning it on
