How To Clean Your Keurig Coffee Maker?

Turn off and unplug the Keurig

Remove the water reservoir, lid, drip tray, and K-Cup holder

Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water

Rinse all parts thoroughly and let them air dry

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth

Clean the needle area with a paper clip or cleaning tool

Reassemble the machine

Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water

Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty

Let the machine sit for 30 minutes if needed

Rinse the reservoir and fill it with fresh water

Run several plain water brew cycles to remove vinegar

Repeat rinsing until the taste and smell are gone

Clean the drip tray and pod holder regularly

Descale the machine every 3 to 6 months

Replace the water filter if your model uses one
