Remove the water reservoir from the Keurig machine
Open the reservoir lid and take out the water filter holder
Soak the water filter cartridge in fresh water for 5 minutes
Rinse the filter cartridge under running water for 60 seconds
Insert the filter cartridge into the filter holder
Snap the filter holder closed
Set the replacement month dial, if your model has one
Insert the filter holder back into the reservoir
Fill the reservoir with fresh water
Reattach the reservoir to the Keurig machine
Run 2 to 3 brew cycles with water only before brewing coffee
