Turn off the Keurig and remove any K-Cup pod
Empty the water reservoir
Pour the descaling solution into the reservoir
Add water to the reservoir as directed on the descaling solution label
Place a large mug on the drip tray
Run a brew cycle without a pod
Discard the hot liquid from the mug
Repeat brew cycles until the reservoir is empty
Let the machine sit for the amount of time listed on the descaling solution instructions
Rinse the reservoir thoroughly
Fill the reservoir with fresh water
Run multiple rinse brew cycles without a pod
Repeat rinsing until the water runs clear and there is no descaling solution smell
Wipe the machine clean and reassemble any removable parts
