Open Instagram
Tap your profile picture
Tap the menu icon
Tap Settings and privacy
Tap Account Center
Tap Your information and permissions
Tap Download your information if you want to back up data first
To clear app cache on iPhone, delete the Instagram app
Press and hold the Instagram app icon
Tap Remove App
Tap Delete App
Open the App Store
Reinstall Instagram
Log back in
Optionally offload the app in iPhone Settings
Open Settings on iPhone
Tap General
Tap iPhone Storage
Tap Instagram
Tap Offload App
Reinstall Instagram from the App Store
