Open Finder
Click Go in the menu bar
Select Go to Folder
Type ~/Library/Caches and press Return
Open the folders for the apps you want to clear
Delete the contents inside those cache folders
Empty the Trash
Restart the Mac
Open Finder
Click Go in the menu bar
Select Go to Folder
Type /Library/Caches and press Return
Open the folders for the system or shared caches you want to clear
Delete the contents inside those cache folders
Empty the Trash
Restart the Mac
Open Safari
Click Safari in the menu bar
Select Settings
Open the Privacy tab
Click Manage Website Data
Click Remove All
Click Done
Open Chrome
Click the three-dot menu
Select Delete browsing data
Choose Cached images and files
Click Delete data
Open Firefox
Click the menu button
Select Settings
Open Privacy & Security
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data
Click Clear Data
Select Cached Web Content
Click Clear
Quit apps before clearing their cache
Avoid deleting files you do not recognize
