Press Command + Shift + 4
Drag to select the area you want to clip
Release the mouse or trackpad to capture the selection
Press Command + Shift + 4, then press Spacebar to capture a window
Click the window to clip it
Press Command + Shift + 5 to open screenshot and screen recording options
Choose the clip or capture option you need
Use the thumbnail that appears to edit or save the clip
Open Preview, then choose File > Take Screenshot if you want more options
Use QuickTime Player if you need to record a screen clip
Save the clip to your desired location after capturing
