Turn off the Xbox
Unplug the power cord from the console
Wait at least 30 seconds
Plug the power cord back in
Turn the Xbox back on
Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds to perform a full power cycle
For Xbox One, press and hold the power button until the console fully shuts down
For Xbox Series X|S, use the power cycle method above to clear temporary cache
Clear Blu-ray cache by going to Settings
Select Devices & connections
Select Blu-ray
Select Persistent storage
Select Clear persistent storage
Clear alternate MAC address by going to Settings
Select Network settings
Select Advanced settings
Select Alternate MAC address
Select Clear
Restart the console
Remove and re-add your account if needed
Factory reset only if necessary
Go to Settings
Select System
Select Console info
Select Reset console
Choose Reset and keep my games & apps or Reset and remove everything
