Click the app name in the menu bar, then select Quit
Press Command + Q
Right-click the app icon in the Dock, then choose Quit
Click the app window’s red close button
Press Command + Option + Esc, select the app, then click Force Quit
Open the Apple menu, choose Force Quit, select the app, then click Force Quit
Use Activity Monitor, select the app, then click the Stop button
If the app is unresponsive, hold Option and right-click the Dock icon, then choose Force Quit
