Log in to your Shopify admin
Go to Settings
Click Plan
Select Deactivate store
Review any account notices or outstanding charges
Enter your password if prompted
Choose a reason for closing the store
Confirm deactivation
Save any important store data before closing
Cancel any third-party app subscriptions
Remove custom domains if needed
Contact Shopify Support if you cannot access the deactivation option
